On the heel of my last entry, “Will Pharm Reps Ever Be Replaced?” came this EU sales rep trend, “Pharma Salesforce Cuts Predicted.” In the European markets, pharma companies are shifting focus from general practitioners (GPs) to payers and are regarding payers as the most important stakeholders.
“Size” hasn’t been “selling” in EU or in NA (North America). With all the talk of disarming massive sales forces, I haven’t seen a dramatic reduction in number, however.
